Update on the RWA conference and the Literacy Booksigning:
The floods in Nashville forced the Romance Writers of America to move their annual conference from the Gaylord Opreyland Hotel in Nashville to the Swan & Dolphin in Disneyworld (Orlando, Florida). The dates will be the same as before. I will be signing my novels Adder and Where The Heart Is at the big "Readers For Life" Literacy Autographing Wed. July 28th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Dolphin. All proceeds are donated to ProLiteracy Worldwide, so if you are going to be in Orlando be sure to stop by and pick up some books! Lots of your favorite romance authors will be there signing (I spotted Nora Roberts and Suzanne Brockmann last year, among others). Shifting Sands, the book of cursed-cowboy-shapeshifter short stories my critique partners and I have been working on for MLR Press for aaaaages, is due to be released in the next couple of months. Yay! Finally! The cover's hot, right? By Cover Goddess Anne Cain, the one and only. More information as I get it, of course!
I just got a contract for a new one with MLR Press. Title is These Haunted Heights and is a romance with a haunted house flavor, set on the Oregon coast. If it goes the way I think it's going to, then I'm somewhere between a quarter and a third done at this point. I don't have a release date yet, but will update when I do :)

It is now official. I have a contract for Shenandoah, sequel to Dragon's Kiss and the second book in my new Mother Earth series. Woot! I'm just over halfway through Shenandoah at this point and plugging along. Right now, the tentative plan is for the book to release in the fall of 2010, but if I can finish it ahead of deadline then I might get an earlier release date. Cross your fingers!
